Electronet series FL-100 are 2-wire turbine flow transmitters designed for a wide range of industrial applications.
The flowing media drives a vaned rotor that rotates at a speed proportional to the flow rate. A pick-up coil senses the rotor’s motion and converts it into a pulsating electrical signal.

The frequency of this signal is directly proportional to the flow rate and is further converted into a standard 4–20 mA output signal.
The system also provides totalized flow and real-time flow rate via a local LCD display.

Electronet’s FL-102 turbine flow transmitters are designed for accurate flow measurement in industrial applications.

  Working Principle

The flowing liquid rotates a vaned rotor inside the pipe. A magnetic pickup coil senses the rotor's angular velocity and converts it into a pulsating electrical signal.

  • The transmitter converts this into a linear 4–20 mA output for process control.

  • Total flow is obtained by summing the pulse signals.
