Description
Electronet Series ELMAG-100 is a microcontroller-based insertion type Electromagnetic Flow Meter designed for accurate flow measurement of conductive liquids and slurries in closed pipelines.
The flow meter features an obstruction-free measuring design, making it maintenance-free compared to conventional mechanical meters.
Using advanced Pulsed DC excitation, the flow meter ensures highly stable and accurate flow measurement and provides a 4–20 mA DC electrical output linearly proportional to volumetric flow rate.
Based on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction, the meter generates a magnetic field inside the flow tube. The conductive fluid passing through it induces a voltage proportional to the flow velocity, which is then converted into a corresponding electrical signal.
The ELMAG-100 is available in Hot Retractable and Fixed Insertion versions to suit a wide range of industrial applications.
